Stephen Keshi Resigns.

 
 Just a day after winning the African Cup Of Nations, Super Eagles of Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has submitted his resignation to the Nigerian Football Federation.
Keshi is said to have fallen out with the governing body 24hours after picking up the trophy.
Stephen Keshi resigned as boss of the Super Eagles a day after winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
Just before the final, Keshi told Goal.com that he would "pack his bags and leave" if he felt he was not wanted, but following the 1-0 win against Burkina Faso in the Afcon final, the coach was highly
praised from all quarters.
However, after a dramatic falling out with the Nigerian Football Federation, Keshi has tendered his resignation.

Redeemer's University May Re-call Students Expelled For Drugs.

The Vice Chancellor of Redeemers University has indicated that the 20 students expelled  for drug usage may be recalled by the institution. To that effect he said a committee had been set up to study the appeals of the parents and a report would be submitted before the end of this month.

Adeyewa(V.C) said the team, which comprised psychologists, doctors and other experts, was given three weeks to reconsider the cases of some affected students and report back.

He said, “Some 41 students alleged to be taking hard drugs were asked by our medical team to go for confirmation drug test and after due investigations, 20 were found positive,”

According to him, the penalty for use of hard drugs, cult membership, examination malpractice and other vices in the school regulation is expulsion.

“We must protect the image of the university as a religious institution,’’ Adeyewa said.

He said the setting up of the committee was as a response to the pleas from some of the parents.

Many missionary universities in the country prefer the expulsion option, however that option may not be the next solution and may simply serve to compound the problems of the students.

 A goal from Sunday Mba gave Nigeria a 1-0 win against Burkina-Faso  to lift the African Cup Of Nations. And a spot booked in the Confederations Cup in Brazil. Congratulations to the super eagles..... didnt believe they could win the competition.. We are so proud of them.
