Demba Ba agrees Chelsea's deal

Chelsea have agreed a fee with Newcastle for striker Demba Ba after making an official bid.

The Senegal international has a release clause, understood to be £7.5m, which has been triggered by the European champions.

A statement on Newcastle's website read: "Newcastle United can confirm that Chelsea Football Club has made an official offer for Demba Ba which has triggered the release clause in the player's contract. The Club has given the player permission to speak to
Chelsea's interest in the striker emerged last weekend however it appeared a move was dead in the water almost as soon as it had been revealed.
It was reported that preliminary discussions between representatives of the player and Chelsea broke up with the deal on the table nowhere near the Senegal international's expectations.

Ba's representatives indicated that the striker did not expect to end up in west London come the end of the January transfer window following the failed talks.
However the deal now appears back on after Newcastle confirmed the official bid from Chelsea.

Prophet T.B.Joshua's revelation for 2013- There would be natural disasters!!!!!

Prophet T.B. Joshua kicked off the new year 2013 with a host of prophetic revelations for individuals around the world. His message was quite compelling and different from what we have been hearing recently. It is indeed a prophecy with a difference and caused us to stop and ponder his words:
“Let me give you six out of many.
The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.
1. 1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.
2. 2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed.3131
3. 3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful – your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.
4. 4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea sickness and air disasters. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.
5. 5. Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.
6. 6. Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.
7. 7. Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).
Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.
Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it.

d banj launches new club and gives up on koko mansion

. Koko Lounge was co-owned by 3 people, D’banj was one of the trio. The reasons for the break out of D’Banj was said to be because he felt he wasn’t making enough profit from the bar.
Our source revealed that one of the owners of Koko Lounge  is based abroad and is not usually around to manage and do his duties for the business but instead is only interested in the profit available anytime he’s present in the country which didn’t go down well with the other owners as profit depreciated with time.
“Dilution of the Mo’Hits Crew” was part of the agreement as at the time when the bar was launched. The bar takes responsibility of supplying the defunct Mo’Hits crew drinks. This also affect profit maximazation.
The third owner porpularly called “Baba”  has since bought the full ownership of the Bar & Lounge which is located at the third floor of E-Center in Yaba, Lagos. The bar is now known or has been re-branded in name Amalga-Nation.

D’Banj launched his club  last month.

12 most paid naija entertainers in 2012.

They’re making money as if it’s going out of fashion; controlling assets that are making some oil tycoons want to consider a career switch. They’re living the real celeb life – hopping from private jets to limited edition cars and SUVs.
With minimum earnings about N6.5M per month, and highest incomes nearing N50m per month in some cases, these fab few are raking in the big bucks, and making hundreds of their colleagues green with envy.
Below is the definitive list of those who made the biggest dough in 2012:
D’BANJ: Gone are the days when he made N10m in a week. These days, the superstar entertainer is making more businessdeals than hits, and the figures are amazing, from CRBTs to distribution, content syndication, and several non-music projects. Paid between N5 and N15 for engagements, and enjoying royalty returns from here, the UK and US, the former Mo’hits front man could soon be moving from the millionaires to the billionaires’ club.
OMOTOLA JALADE-EKEINDE: Omosexy cashed out with her reality show ‘The Real Me’ for which she reportedly got paid a huge sum. She also featured in two big budget movies ‘Amina’and ‘Last Flight to Abuja’.
PSQUARE: The twins probably made the most money this year jetting round Africa headlining sold out shows attended by thousands. Peter and Paul Okoye, whose billable hours attract close to double figures in the millions, also signed a distribution deal with Universal Music. With sold out gigs here and abroad, the brothers have built a wild following that makes sure promoters keep asking for them. Easily one of the highest paid Nigerian acts.
ALI BABA: When the revered comedian isn’t cracking people up on Twitter, he’s making big bucks consulting or compering events for multinationals, government or high net worth individuals.
GENEVIEVE NNAJI: The Nollywood actress is ahead of her peers, benefiting from endless endorsements (Loya, MUD, Range Rover etc) and reaping dividends from private businesses she’s keeping off public glare. Paid a mind-boggling figure to act in the movie adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s ‘Half of a Yellow sun’, Ms Nnaji rarely takes up movie roles these days. When she does, it must be worth it.
DAVIDO: The young son of billionaire businessman Deji Adeleke is making daddy proud earning his own money at the young age of 20. Davido who started out as a rookie less than two years ago now charges four to five million Naira to performat gigs and here’s the good part, he gets to perform at least three gigs in a week. Could be up to five, in seasons such as this. 2012 incomes include the N30m deal with MTN…
2FACE IDIBIA: If he didn’t make the list, wouldn’t you be scared? 2face started the year, releasing his fifth solo album and then embarked on a sponsored US tour. Charging as muchas $60,000 per show, Mr. Idibia was busy all year, headlining gigs all over. Investment in real estate and hospitality (including Club Rumours, in Ikeja, Lagos) also paid off.
FUNKE AKINDELE: The actress-producer is still enjoying the success of ‘The Return of Jenifa’ from which she reportedly made over N30m. She has also been made the ambassador of Nigerian job websiteJobberman, a deal worth millions of Naira. That’s in addition to the endorsement deal with Telecoms Company GLO and the Lagos Inland Revenue Service.
DON JAZZY: The MAVIN Records boss signed a deal with Samsung Africa and broke bank with the Loya Milk deal. With his eyes firmly on the prize, the gifted producer moved beyondthe Mo’Hits beef to focus on pushing and monetizing MAVIN content, while expanding into fresh business areas. He’s penned a deal to produce the theme song for the Africa Cup ofNations holding in 2013… And the recently launched Pop Clubis a year-end addition that’ll sure bear fruits….
WIZKID: The EME pop star this year made big bucks from his endorsement deal with carbonated soft drink Pepsi. Same for his deal with Star, for the all-star song. And all through the year, he stood as one of the highest paid acts, charging between N4m and N6.5m for performances here, and usually more, for gigs in Dubai, England and elsewhere…
IYANYA: Being his most promising year so far, Iyanya made quite a fortune off his ‘Kukere’ single. Performance fees doubled, tripled then doubled again, causing him to swim in millions. Just this year, he relocated to an expensive apartment in Lekki and bought for himself a Range Rover HSE.Next year should even be better.
BASKETMOUTH: Bright Okpocha’s transition from mere stand-up comic to events compere and TV host has the big bucks rolling in for him. His Globacom endorsement remains intact, and he’s delved heavily into show promotions here and abroad. There’s also the successful EmBARssy Lounge on Lagos mainland.

Liverpool finally completes Sturrigde signing deal.

Liverpool Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of striker Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea.
The 23-year-old becomes our first signing of the January transfer window after penning a long-term contract at Melwood today.
Afterwards he told Liverpoolfc.com of his joy at sealing the deal.
"I am humbled and happy to be here," said Sturridge.
"Brendan Rodgers said he sees me here for a long time - and I also see myself here for a long time. I've not signed here to play for a couple of years and then move on.
"I've signed to be here for as long as possible. It's a humongous club - for me, one of the biggest in the world - and to have the fans and world-class players we have here is amazing."
Sturridge began his professional career at Manchester City, where he finished top-scorer as City lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2008.

Kim Kardashian will give birth to kanye west's baby while still married to kris humphries

Kim kardashian will give birth to Kanye West's baby while still married to Kris Humphries

 Posted on January 2, 2013 at 3:0

Kim Kardashian spoke to E! on the status of her pregnancy and the controversies surrounding it. It is believed that Kim’s pregnancy is about 3-months old and she’ll be due at the end of June this year. Words have emerged that  the star will give birth to her baby while she is still married to basketball player Kris Humphries. Kim and Kris ended their marriage after 72days together.
And now, according to sources, the next trial for the divorce will be set for mid-June, to fit in with Nets player Kris’ basketball commitments. Kris has argued for an annullment rather than a divorce, arguing that he and Kim married under false pretenses.
The source said: ‘Kris isn’t trying to drag this out, but he wants to be vindicated in court. Kris will see this through to the end.’
‘But Kim is refusing to cave to any of Kris’ demands. She has moved on with her life, and she won’t agree to an annulment on grounds that the marriage was fraudulent because it would cause catastrophic damage to her brand”.

Kim Spoke to E! on hoe she feels at the moment:
Kim said: ‘I take lots of naps. Actually I feel really good. This New Year is just about being happy and healthy and that’s what I plan on doing.
‘I wouldn’t say that pregnancy has been easy but there’s been no morning sickness. When people say pregnancy is fun and they love it, I would disagree. I think from this stage on it does become easier and funner but it’s just adjusting.’
She added: ‘Even my sister has made it look so easy and it’s not as easy as people think. It’s a little painful, there’s a lot of growing pains.
‘But I’ve heard it’s all worth it so I’m looking forward to that.’
And as for any weird cravings, The Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s star said she is longing for seafood – though she knows it’s not encouraged for pregnant women.
She said: ‘I’m craving sushi, but I know I can’t really have it, so I’m eating a lot of carrots and celery with lots of ranch.'
